Our story is a rich heritage of God’s faithfulness right from the day God’s representatives Rev Sam Adeyemi (Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre), Pastor Bola Odutola (RCCG, Solid Rock Parish), Pastor Kunle Olawale (RCCG) and Pastor Tunji Olasunkanmi (RCCG, Kenya), who have mentored Pastor Taiwo Olamiposi Lemoshe (The Set man) over the years, inaugurated the ministry on December 13, 2009.
The dream that was birthed on that great day was incubated in 1994 when God revealed to Pastor Taiwo that he would one day pioneer a great work having left secondary school a year before and was still in the transitional period of gaining admission into the higher institution. As at then he had “King’s Kid Ministry” as the name and his preference for a ministry base was Jos, Plateau State. He had a taste of this when he presided over the affairs of the Redeemed Christian Fellowship, University of Ibadan Chapter during which the fellowship experienced a mighty move.
Before the church was inaugurated, a few associates joined him in a six-month planning and prayer time seeking the face of God for leading on the focus of the ministry which is “Building Capacity and Raising Men”. They also paid attention to how the work will be done and it was during this period that the name “God’s Chamber Church” and location was arrived at. He resigned his job and was officially released by his Pastor in November to start the work.
The church was inaugurated at Women Development Centre (WDC), Agege with a lot of friends and well-wishers attending. However, our first service held a week after with 27 adults and children, but it has not remained the same ever since.
September 2018, a new phase of the ministry began with the inauguration of the God’s Chamber Ministries (GCM) and the appointment of Executive Pastors to oversee branches with the ordination of Pastors and Assistant Directors
