WHAT TO DO WHEN IT SEEMS PRAYERS ARE NOT ANSWERED (1)
Matthew 7:7, 11 (KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
There are times we have prayed and done all we need to do in prayers but it seems nothing is changing in our situations.
When this persists the confidence level of many in God begins to wane as quite a number seek alternative methods outside of God in order to resolve issues. E.g Sarah Genesis 16:1-6; Galatians 4:22-31
Things to note and remind our selves
1. God is faithful: He will never deny you of what He has made available in Christ Jesus. He has your best interest at heart.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it
2. God gladly hears our prayers each time we pray in faith and in accordance with His will. Know that as soon as you prayed, He heard you.
1 John 5:14 (KJV) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
3. Don’t try to arm twist God, know what is made available in Christ Jesus Colossians 2:9-10.
He gave you His own best, so nothing can be difficult for Him to give now.Romans 8:32 but you must ask what is in His will for you. God will never act against His words.
4. Rather turn your focus and affection on Jesus and off the issue…Hebrews 12:2. The more you focus on your issues the more they grow bigger in your consciousness.
